I'm a Senior Software Developer at Sonrai Security, where I focus on backend infrastructure and developer experience.
My work and curiosity tend to live in the same neighbourhood: developer tooling, internal platforms, build systems, and cloud security.
Work
Most of my recent work has been around Backstage — adopting it as an internal developer portal at Sonrai Security, and previously at IBM. Standing up the platform is the easy part; the interesting work is in the plugins that make it useful day-to-day: version tracking across services, integrations with internal systems, and the developer-experience glue that turns a catalog into something engineers actually open.
Lately a lot of that work has shifted toward agentic AI in developer and operations workflows — things like automated daily status checks that summarize their own results, and tooling that helps engineers get more out of the AI they already use. Less “chat box in the sidebar,” more taking real work off people's plates.
